Teach-In and Community Discussion: The Question of Palestine

  • Links Hall 3111 North Western Avenue Chicago, IL, 60618 United States (map)

Please note that this program has been rescheduled from its original date of January 14 due to heating issues in the space.

This program involves a lecture and Q&A by Professor Iymen Chehade, followed by a brief and optional community movement and grounding workshop, led by Maren Rosenberg, to explore the content from the teach-in.

With skewed media coverage and misinformation about the war on the people of Palestine, now more than ever it is important to discuss the origins of the crisis, where it is going, and how to end it so that peace, dignity, and justice can be achieved for all.

Join us on Friday, January 12th, for a staged reading of The Olive Tree.

During the live event, there will be an opportunity to donate directly to support the people of Gaza through MedGlobal. To learn more about MedGlobal's efforts in Gaza visit them at https://donorbox.org/medglobal-gaza-emergency.

Workshop Schedule:

3:00pm - 4:15pm: Lecture led by Professor Iymen Chehade

4:15pm - 4:20pm: Break

4:20pm - 5:15pm: Q&A
