Links Hall offers subsidized space to self-producing artists, performance ensembles, filmmakers & videographers, multidisciplinary collaborators, and so much more. 

Rental rates below are subsidized for independent artists, to make sure everyone receives an equitable quote based on their needs and budget. Please contact us for more information about for-profit or private event rentals.

White Box (Studio A)

  • Available for rehearsals, workshops, and performances.

  • Sprung wood dance floor.

  • Seating capacity up to 80, including chairs and floor pillows.

Black Box (Studio B)

  • Available for rehearsals and workshops only.

Starting Rates

Pending consultation with Links Hall's general manager.

Rehearsal

  • Weekdays before 5pm $15/hour

  • Weeknights after 5pm + Weekends $20/hour

Class/Workshop (2 hour min)

  • Starting at $25/hour

Filming (4 hour min)

  • Starting at $72/hour, includes 1 technician

Technical Rehearsal (in combination with Performance Rental)

  • Starting at $50/hour, includes 1 technician

Performance or Public Event (4 hour min)

  • First performance: $125/hour, includes 1 technician + 1 house manager

  • Each additional performance: $100/hour, includes 1 technician + 1 house manager

Things to consider before inquiring:

  • All performance rentals will take place in the White Box, unless otherwise specified. Evening rentals in the Black Box are limited.

  • Studio dimensions and technical specifications are available here.

  • A Links Hall technician must be on site while lighting, sound, or video equipment is in use. Technical rehearsal and performance rental rates are inclusive of one technician. 

  • Links Hall has an in-house, 4-camera remote film and live stream system. Livestream services, documentation, and performance for film are available, with the support of Links Hall technical teams.

  • A Links Hall house manager must be on site for all public performances and events. Performance rental rates are inclusive of one house manager.

  • Constellation, Links Hall’s building partner, operates a bar for evening performances and events. Under the terms of the liquor license, all alcohol served on-site, including pre- or post-show events, must be purchased from Constellation.
