Join the Links Hall Community Circle.

Links Hall invites our community to the center of our next steps forward.

With support from the Arts Work Fund, we are forming a Community Circle made of a diverse cross-section of Links Hall artists, staff, board, audience members, and supporters who will meet monthly from October 2024 to January 2025 to explore visioning questions for the organization around space, partnerships, values, and mission. 12 group members will be selected through a brief application process and paid an $850 stipend for their participation in these conversations.

In addition to the Community Circle monthly meetings, Links Hall will also hold two town hall public meetings to include a wider circle of our community.

Why now?

At this moment in Links Hall’s history, we are uniquely positioned to initiate in-depth, community-led strategic planning. This past year, Links Hall successfully transitioned a new Executive Director into the organization, celebrated our 45th year in existence, and just launched our 12th season in our space at 3111 N. Western Ave in partnership with Constellation. Amidst these milestones, we are reckoning with the field-wide impacts of the pandemic, and this past year, we learned that there may be a space transition necessary in the coming year(s) - which could take many different forms.

For us, this is an opportunity to activate the Links Hall community around these issues, get curious about different scenarios, root into our accessibility and equity values, and ultimately make community-driven plans to guide us forward.

We believe this period has the potential to catalyze exciting transformation and new possibilities for Links Hall. We want to include our past and present community, especially the artists who are most impacted by potential changes to our space, at the heart of these conversations.
