Caitlin Marz was awarded a 2008/09 LinkUP Residency.
Caitlin Marz was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. She graduated with a BFA from the UIUC in 2006, where she performed in works by: MichelleBoulé, Merce Cunningham, Chamecki/Lerner, Linda Lehovec, Renée Wadleigh and Robert Wood. Caitlin’s other performance credits include Jennifer Allen and Sara Ross’ site specific event ‘PDA’ at Great Performers of Illinois 2006 and Chamecki/Lerner’s ‘Exit’ at the Kitchen in New York this past May. Caitlin’s solo ‘Grandfather Clock’ was chosen for the Gala Concert at the American College Dance Festival in 2005 and her choreography has also been presented in Studio Dance II 2005 and 2006 at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts in Urbana, IL. Caitlin received the Outstanding Performer Award from the Department of Dance at the UIUC in the spring of 2006. She is a co-founder of the LIVE ANIMALS Performance Collective.
