Sarah Haas received her BA in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. She has danced with Hedwig Dances and has been choreographing, teaching and performing her own work throughout Chicago.

Her 2004 LinkUp work, “Still Breathing” was inspired by her studies in Falun Gong/Falun Dafa, a meditation practice introduced to China in 1992. Haas has dedicated this piece to the millions of people who continue to cultivate and support Falun Gong. Haas was a 2003 recipient of a Community Arts Assistance Program Grant to help support the creation of, “StillBreathing.”
